This is a painting of Pope Francis wearing red lipstick and blue eye shadow. Our feelings towards the Roman Catholic Church (and other organised religions in general) are complicated. So far, we haven't had a religious experience to make us believe in any god, and therefore, we don't; however, we respect those who have honestly had such an experience.

We would like to ask the question (as many have before us) of whether a loving god would really condemn anyone for being themselves. Would it be such a sin against it to wear makeup or dress differently or love openly?
